The ANC = African National Congress’ (South African government’s) racism on the sports field cannot be tolerated any longer and the FF Plus (Afrikaner Minority Rights Party) will be writing to various international sporting bodies as well as the International Olympic Committee to bring the ANC’s racist sport policies to their attention, Adv. Anton Alberts, the FF Plus’ parliamentary spokesperson on Sport said.

Adv. Alberts says the FF Plus will insist that the bodies distance themselves from any form of racism on the sport field and that hey investigate the so-called quota system that the government is forcing on sport in South Africa.

The FF Plus will also be writing to the ambassadors of the largest countries with whom South Africa has sporting ties and ask them to bring South Africa’s sport policies to the attention of their governments.

According to Adv. Alberts, the media in Australia and New Zealand widely reported on the fact that a South African born cricket player, Grant Elliot, who left the country as a young sportsman as a result of the quota system had helped New Zealand beat SA in the semi-finals of the World Cricket Tournament.

“One would be able to call this the unintended results of affirmative action but the policy is so racist and retaliatory on every level in the country that it force our sport to its knees, just as it has done with Eskom.

AA is busy transforming SA into a grey and mediocre equality which existed in communist East Germany where individual achievements of any nature were not tolerated and were even punished.

“In South Africa it has taken on a special form where white achievements ae equated to racism. By playing the racist card the spunk is knocked out of ordinary people by restricting their access to opportunities merely because they are white.

“Even Brown people are now no longer black as far as opportunities on the sport field are concerned and the ANC has repeatedly state that black people to which the quotas refer, has to be ‘ethnic’ black.

“These actions of the ANC authorities and thought police are forcing talented people to leave the country and it will increasingly be the case. It is time for those who are on the wrong side of affirmative action, white and brown, to stand together and confront the ANC about it,” Adv. Alberts says.
